1812 History – A Digital Partnership

Friday, October 15 - 6:30 to 11:00pm

David Sharron, Head of the Special Collections and Archives at Brock University, will be the keynote speaker at the annual Queenston Dinner on Friday, October 15. He will be presenting on the 1812History.com digitization project and the Sir Isaac Brock materials available online. For many years past, a group of Niagara-on-the-Lake residents has held an annual dinner in tribute to Isaac Brock. This dinner will take place at historic Navy Hall.

The new website - www.1812history.com - is a collaborative project between, Brock University, six Niagara Museums, Our Ontario and the Niagara District School Board. It is designed to make the primary artefacts and records from the 1812 period available online
